There are little questions that people ask all the time, like ‘can you lay ceramic tile over hardwood floors?’ and ‘can you install hardwood floors over gypcrete?’ but they all seem so silly and petty when you look at the overall beauty of the works that have been done.

Nonetheless, they are far from inconsequential because these are the factors that will determine if the works will stand the test of time and use, or if they will not. Canadian hardwood floors have stood these tests and they are the epitome of wood flooring, so that you can study them well enough to get your answers.

No, you don’t lay ceramic tiles over hardwood floors because you don’t need to. Sure the tiles will stick, but why would you want to destroy such a thing of beauty by placing something else on top of it. It’s best that you have the wood flooring removed and then replace them with the tiles if what you are seeking is change.

You may lay your hardwood floors on gypcrete though, especially when you tire of the synthetic material and you are looking for a change that is natural enough.

And if the question on your mind is ‘can urine gone remove pet urine stains from hardwood floors?’ the answer is ‘yes,’ especially if you are using the best hardwood flooring that money can buy – hardwood floors in  Canada.

The Best Hardwood Floors

Laid as planks, strips or parquet tiles, hardwood floorings are some of the best and most beautiful floor types in the entire world. Why, it has been used for flooring for centuries since man knew that he could use it that way, and hardwood still accounts for a large number of floors in the United States.

Plus, hardwood is cheaper to install than terrazzo or concrete, and easier to maintain than a carpet or rug, and they are also very durable. Gypcrete hardwood floors for instance are catchy to the eye and easy to clean up after a mess is made.

You could choose to put a rug or carpet on top of them if you wanted to, but why would you want to hide the beauty that they radiate when they radiate it so well?

Wondering if you can use vacuum cleaners on hardwood floors, the answer is an emphatic ‘yes.’ As a matter of fact, the essential appeal of a properly installed hardwood floor is the fact that you could very easily clean messes up, care for the floor, and maintain it using sweeping, damp mopping, and yes, vacuuming.

The best hardwood floors as a matter of fact respond best to vacuuming than to sweeping because you can catch more dirt that way, and you don’t even have to work so hard, double over, or anything of the sort during the process.

The Best Hardwood Floors – Bruce Hardwood Floors

Bruce hardwood floors, my personal favorite. I don’t quite have my own home yet, but I have long dreamt that most, if not all of the rooms, will be constituted by hardwood floors by Bruce.

They are prefinished with polyurethane and added aluminum oxide that greatly increases the wear that the floor can handle, and they are not very susceptible to the effects of moisture and temperature because they can expand and contract in the width of the grain direction, which is everywhere, based on the make of the wood.

Bruce hardwood floors have natural reflections that you don’t see everywhere all the time. Of course wood is brown, but they come in various shades of brown that will catch your eye and keep you staring all day.

Also, in terms of durability, comfort, ease of cleaning, and ability to form attractive designs during installation and finishing makes them stand out delicately and exquisitely everywhere that you encounter them.

I know, I could go on and on about Bruce hardwood floors because I have seen them on display time and again, and I have seen them in use in so many different ways and applications that I can hardly think of much else.

And it does not take a whole lot to fall in love with them the way that I have, you know; all you need are a few Bruce hardwood floors reviews on the internet or in some magazine and you could be sold already because they are always rave and enthusiastic.

They have sufficiently high resistance to wear and tear, they are attractive, and they absorb sounds rather well
