One of the most popular types of hardwood floors are the Armstrong hardwood floors; solid and engineered, clean, beautiful, easy to clean or mop up, and ideal for just about any room floor that is not a bathroom, because the moisture that accumulates may eventually shorten the life span of the flooring, which you don’t want.

They give pride to the genre of hardwood floors in the United States, and they are used only by the wealthiest because they really aren’t cheap to purchase, but cheap to maintain.

There are several different types of hardwood floors that you can find or think of; why, wood generally has been used in the flooring of homes and buildings for virtual centuries and a lot has been learnt about its properties and how best it can be employed in various applications.

However, all the best properties of wood, especially in flooring, may not be obtainable in just one type of wood or wooden flooring, so that various wood types are employed by various wood manufacturers, in various ways to come up with various qualities that may be used in various types of floors.

That is why when you hit the market looking for hardwood flooring, you may come across Artemis hardwood floors as distinguishable from Arizona Bruce hardwood floors; and although they are both types of hardwood flooring, they are made produced and fabricated in different ways, and as such their installation will vary, as will their life expectancy based on what they are installed for, and how long they can withstand the pressures that are thrown in the way.

Hardwood Floors In Canada

Canada has always been a place of beauty, and the landscape only contributes to that beauty, as do the mineral and natural resources of the land.

Forestry is largely concentrated in the Canadian Shield and the Appalachian Region, through which Canadian hardwood floors manufacturers can come about all the raw material that they need to fashion some of the best floor types and designs that you have ever witnessed with your eyes.

The most productive forests in North American nation of Canada are the ones in northern Québec, Abitibi-Temiscamingue, and in the areas that surround the Saguenay River and Lac Saint-Jean. These are forests that are abundant in stands of fir, spruce, and other softwoods help make the province a world leader in pulp and paper production.

Added to that though, your birch and other hardwoods are cut and harvested virtually all year round and used mostly for construction and flooring.

Savannah hardwood floors in Canada are getting more popular not just in the country, but actually all over the world by the day. Toronto in the province of Ontario, for instance, thrives on expanding commercial agriculture and the harvesting of hardwood lumber that is used for just such a purpose.

With poplar and maple to go with the birch, sawmills now stretch along the southern margin of the Canadian shield near the Minnesota border, manufacturing the famous hardwood floors of Canada that have been exported to virtually all the other nations of the world and also used locally in several of the marvelous architectural wonders of the land, especially when you consider the works of Vancouver architect Arthur Erickson that have gained worldwide attention.

The Best Hardwood Floors – Bruce Hardwood Floors

Bruce hardwood floors, my personal favorite. I don’t quite have my own home yet, but I have long dreamt that most, if not all of the rooms, will be constituted by hardwood floors by Bruce.

They are prefinished with polyurethane and added aluminum oxide that greatly increases the wear that the floor can handle, and they are not very susceptible to the effects of moisture and temperature because they can expand and contract in the width of the grain direction, which is everywhere, based on the make of the wood.

Bruce hardwood floors have natural reflections that you don’t see everywhere all the time. Of course wood is brown, but they come in various shades of brown that will catch your eye and keep you staring all day.

Also, in terms of durability, comfort, ease of cleaning, and ability to form attractive designs during installation and finishing makes them stand out delicately and exquisitely everywhere that you encounter them.

I know, I could go on and on about Bruce hardwood floors because I have seen them on display time and again, and I have seen them in use in so many different ways and applications that I can hardly think of much else.

And it does not take a whole lot to fall in love with them the way that I have, you know; all you need are a few Bruce hardwood floors reviews on the internet or in some magazine and you could be sold already because they are always rave and enthusiastic.

They have sufficiently high resistance to wear and tear, they are attractive, and they absorb sounds rather well
